Joseph A. Patti, Sr. V.P., Development & Marketing

Mr. Patti is the consummate technology professional with extensive experience across a wide range of roles in Information Technology.  His hands-on style, highly developed critical thinking, creative problem solving and the proven ability to grasp new technologies, develop plans, build and manage teams, obtain buy-in across multi-disciplined groups, direct large scale projects, and consistently deliver results, has proven to be invaluable to companies and stakeholders throughout the world, adding value to business relationships.

As a Senior Vice President,of development and marketing manager for Critical Path Software Inc., Mr. Patti's responsibility is primarily in a sales/marketing capacity - to develop new markets for the company's many performance tuning software packages.

Before coming to Critical Path Software, Inc. Mr. Patti  led the design and implementation of data centers and associated infrastructure support systems, designed and managed performance tuning and capacity planning processes, and developed and implemented Securities Research Data Bases and Management Information Systems for major financial services companies.  Mr Patti developed and implemented various management controls based upon the Stages Theory. The Stages Theory is one of the most widely used management frameworks for IT baselining and planning, and was originated by Richard Nolan of Nolan, Norton and Company.

Later in his career as CIO for the Diversified Financial Services Division of Merrill Lynch, he led the development and implementation of a complete set of automation for the employee relocation, residential real estate and mortgage banking businesses. This enabled Merrill Lynch to spin these businesses off and organize them collectively as a publicly traded company. The resulting company, Fine Homes International, was recognized as a leader in the industry before being sold to Prudential Insurance.
Joe then held various positions before joining Analysts International, a major IT consulting company, where he developed a technology practice that concentrated on infrastructure management and efficiency services. In this capacity he helped clients reduce infrastructure costs and optimize systems performance. He also led the development of a software product that was a forerunner of automated real-time service level management tools, now referred to as Service Level Management Dashboards. He then led a national accounts sales team that provided value-added IT services to Fortune 500 clients including Verizon and JP Morgan Chase.

His experience also includes five years as a CTO building and managing the infrastructure support for a residential construction company. He developed and implemented all business processes, installed state of the art design and project management tools, and implemented accounting and customer support systems.
